The house as it stood was in beautiful order with original oak floors and large lofty bedrooms. The residence, however, had a conservatory to the rear opening into the kitchen which caused the house to be dark, cold and left with minimal view of the garden. We demolished the conservatory and constructed a large kitchen diner, living space with roof lantern and glass doors opening out onto a stone patio space with curved steps flowing down to the garden. All windows were replaced and the ground floor areas refurbished.
